i'm off home, y'all. christmas is actually this saturday for my family this year; my cousin the doctor is in her second year of residency, so it was all about finding when we could all be in the same town at the same time. then i'll be at my parents' for the rest of the week, returning here on sunday ... with mom in tow to help me get packed up so i can move immediately after the new year.

in short, i'll be sporadically online between now and, say, january 4; hope everyone's various holiday-motivated family gatherings and days off work and so forth are cheery and happy and everything they're supposed to be. catch y'all on the flip side. :-)
