so, moving? sucked more than i'd anticipated.

the actual moving was actually not that bad. painting happened with the assistance of

wholenother,

darthrami, and M, and truck-loading happened with the assistance of bro and FSIL, and truck-unloading happened with the assistance of bro, FSIL,

wholenother,

esti626, and

mearagrrl, none of whom owed me favors and therefore to whom i am in so much debt.

then it took eight days to get my phone hooked up, and in the meantime my harddrive died.

so that sucked. fortunately, i have

wholenother,

darthrami, and the LJ-less terri, so i am assured that nothing i did killed the harddrive, a new harddrive is on its way, the installation will cost me a trip to the suburbs and a favor some time in the future (i'll take the kid to the mall or something, T), and i'm coming to you live on a borrowed laptop.

and this afternoon i finally have a job interview, huzzah, huzzah -- and don't think there wasn't drama and confusion attached to that as well.
