YAY FOR PEOPLE WHO HIRE ME!

yeah, i called K just now (2:45 EST), saying "just to check in and see if there was anyone i needed to pester to get back to you," but before i could say anything of the kind she said "you're on my list of people to call today!" (she said it with the exclamation point, because as darthrami has pointed out, the woman's voice is uncannily like laurakaye's, cheery-perky-like.)

so, yay job. yay someplace to be at 9:00 monday morning. and yay job! and, i thus have time to open a bank account in between now and then, because direct deposit is our friend. and, this is full-time hours for six months, which by my calculations (and since i'm starting on monday) will take me to or possibly through the end of july. which: if i'm going back to school, that gives me a few weeks of nothing between the end of the gig and the beginning of the semester; and if not, i'll know by, like, april, which will give me time to parlay this temporary thing into something permanent.
