fox: arctic fox: time to hibernate (hibernate)
how is it, when your sinuses are all clogged up with who knows what and there really can't possibly be room inside your head for all the crap that's been coming from it (not to put too fine a point on it), i.e. when passages in your head that are normally full of air are now full of gunk, that you wind up feeling light-headed?

in good news, though, i seem to have turned a corner with this wretched cold. i woke up this morning breathing normally through my nose, and my throat didn't hurt, and my mouth didn't feel dry, and i realized i hadn't woken up even once in the middle of the night. pretty exciting. add this to other evidence that the drugs have been doing their job, and things are going pretty well. still a little sniffly and achy, and my voice is kind of scratchy, but the difference between last saturday and today? [stretches out arms and holds hands as far apart as possible]

dear work-study kid who answers the phone:

if your boss is busy, and can't take a call? you should be the one to tell me that, instead of putting the call through to him and having him tell me he doesn't have time to talk to me.

kthnxbye.
