that's half the weekend gone.
Feb. 21st, 2004 07:35 pmmy legs are tired and achy, feeling precisely as if i'd spent last night having a lot of energetic sex. the fact that they feel this way doesn't bother me. the fact that this is not why, though, does a bit.
curling: haven't been playing very well lately. tired, i suspect. as well to get it out of the system now, and get used to two-a-day games three days in a row before the kayser and the women's challenge and the cherry blossom and the meltdown. this, incidentally, is why i'm achy in the legs; it's very likely i need a new gripper. probably two. was sweeping L's rock today and my left foot just slid out from under me. put my knee down, plenty hard, thanks, and of course my other foot shot away in the other direction for balance.
memo to self: you're not tired from exertion and lack of sleep, genius. well, you might be, but the reason you're so tired right now, and why you don't feel any better after a half-hour nap, is that you haven't eaten. what have people told you about this? stop futzing with the computer and go get some blood sugar.
