bah, shopping.

1. right -- if the subject line is "interesting ..." and the body of the message says "this is very interesting", don't click on the link. Bad Things will happen. i'll just be over here feeling gladder than ever that i didn't join the russian sausage-link thing, and didn't click on the "this" when ferrett's journal got hacked because the target didn't look like something i'd be that interested in, and etc. mmmmmsafe computer. 2. so i got up at a weekday hour this morning so i could drive out to Old Place Of Business and pick up my allergy vials from the doctor out there, whom i can't see anymore because he's, you know, all the way out there. brought along my dress for my brother's wedding, stopped at the mall on the way home, took the thing to be pinned and it's all ready to have alterations apart from i still don't have shoes for it so they don't know how much to take it up. wandered around the mall looking for shoes, of which there were NONE. (there were lots of shoes. but they were all ugly. one style wasn't so bad, and came in a color they called "bronze satin", and i thought, hey, blue dress, bronze shoes, i'll have a little ravenclaw shout-out in a way nobody will know about but me. only by "bronze satin" they meant "brown, with ugly beads." feh.) also looked at some clothes -- autumn colors are starting to come in, huzzah! -- but i can afford to buy nothing right now.
