t minus seven days and counting

i have four more work days after today. i'm trying to feel sorry, and i can't do it. :-)

also, i sincerely recommend that anyone who needs a little confidence boost have a chat with cmshaw. i believe i've rhapsodized about the wonder that is C on previous occasions, but i'm going to do it again. i don't know how she does it, but the girl manages to tell you what you want to hear in such a way that (a) it doesn't feel like she's just telling you what you want to hear, because (b) it sounds so totally reasonable, you start to wonder why you'd ever doubted it in the first place.

no fooling, dudes. i carried a stack of documents twenty yards down the hall and put them down, and i've broken out in hives on my wrists and arms.

i know i used to say the job made me itchy, but i was speaking figuratively, then.

i retired the lego icon, because i seem to remember nobody was a big fan of it and a couple of you said it was so unlike me (despite the coffee and cigarette) that you didn't know why i kept it at all. have rotated this one in, instead. i like it better than the cartoon avatar, though i did manage to flip the ears on that one so the earrings go in the right places. :-)
