so i've been reading about baseball.

the new Washington Nationals' opening game is tomorrow, in philadelphia.  and there's this big ol' article in the post about what a long, strange trip it's been getting baseball to DC, blah blah NoVA, blah blah the evil that is Peter Angelos, etc.  and there's a couple of paragraphs about how Major League Baseball really wanted to name the team the Senators, but the mayor was totally against it, the whole issue of DC voting rights, so on and so forth, and how finally (obviously) the team was named the Nationals.

and all i could think was, it's just a matter of time before their asses get renamed the Reagan Nationals.



clearly, it's time for me to take a little more cold medicine.
