hmmm.

there was a hummingbird outside yesterday.  i only saw it for a second, as one does.  it wasn't hovering as much as zipping around like it was drunk and had been fired from a slingshot.

trouble is, now out the window i keep seeing things flit by out of the corner of my eye, and there can't be that many hummingbirds.  which means they're like bees or wasps or something, and that's how big they are.  meh.
