Discovery successfully docked at the international space station today, and two guys were there to meet her.

and this was the first shuttle visit to the station since Endeavor was there in november of 2002.

so have those two guys been up there for three years?!

i was so ... surprised

besides the one from the other day -- now here's one about hearing through the (very short) grapevine about exam results in my department, and what that makes me think about my future.

the reason i can't talk about it now is that i really should be doing this thing for my, you know, thesis ...

listen, along about the springtime, someone's going to tell me what i need to know about owing the IRS taxes on money i've earned over here, right? (rat bastards.)
