so my christmas is almost over, while for most of y'all it's barely begun. am in a whole different internet place in the hotel than i was this time last night, but this one appears to come with less chance of people reading over my shoulder, so it's better. (there is wireless and broadband in the whole place, but it's not free, and why shell out in the room when there's computers i can use up here, is the real issue.) (of course, as my brother points out, if it were someone else's money -- for values of 'someone else' not including one's parents -- i'd spend it with no compunction whatsoever.)
anyway, i see that
yuletide is live. my present is guestright, a nice little slice of horatio (/hamlet, and laertes-related jealousy), written by whom i have no idea. :-) but she did a good job, whoever she is! and i'm off to read some more now, although being as how i'm in a public-ish lab i'm not going to be able to sit here reading all night ...
happy christmas, everyone. mwah!
