My parents are here. Haven't seen them since New Year's, and they say it's clear to them that I've lost weight. Which I have, but I don't feel like it's conspicuous -- and as they're my parents it's hard to say whether I should put more or less stock in the first thing they say when they see me. :-P

Before the Special Dinner in college tonight, we were chatting with some of my fellow students out in the garden, and my mother was explaining that after she'd retired from teaching she'd gone to law school as a treat for herself. And a friend of mine looked from my mother to me and back again and said "Oh, I get it now."

May catch a show at the Globe tomorrow, if we can find something and get to London in time. Could be fun. Woo!
