I am reliably informed that the pass mark for each exam is 60, and the distinction mark is 76 -- that is, all papers have to be 60 or above to pass, and two papers (or one paper and the thesis) need to be 76 or above for distinction. Makes my mock Paper A essays a little more exciting, with the 60 and 63 (though of course to pass that exam, the average of the three essays has to be 60 or above, so theoretically a person could fail one essay and still pass the exam).
Right. Got some work to do, then, haven't I?
