so, that happened.

We lost our second game, as we deserved to, by playing like crap.  Lost the toss, stole two in the first, gave up six (!) in the second, gave up a steal of one in the third, took two in the fourth (but it should have been three), gave up another six (!!)  in the fifth.  We played the sixth end for the purpose of getting the rocks back home, and took one.  If I'd known we were going to get screwed that thoroughly, I'd have brought lube.

But anyway.  At least nobody was cranky about it -- at one point Vice D said "man, I cannot buy a shot tonight", and Skip B got in the hack saying "I just hate it when the ice is rotten on one side", which it was, but he said it like a comment rather than like a gripe, so it was okay.  We got drubbed and we earned it.  Heh.

In other news, hey, who knew, it does get easier.  (Just a little bit.)
