I am feeling chilly today, and a little achy and tired. Co-worker says "That's the flu" and backs away quickly. I maintain that I have no other flu-like symptoms -- notably absent are fever, headache, cough, and nausea -- and am thus simply cold, tired, achy, and grouchy.

Twenty years ago, did you ever think that the Commonwealth of Virginia would be behind South Africa in anything that could be described in a sentence including the words "equal rights"?

Good game tonight.  We won the toss, and they stole one in the first and stole one in the second -- and then we took three in the third and stole one in the fourth.  Gave up one in the fifth, and took three in the sixth.  Gave up one in the seventh, and ran them out of rocks in the eighth, but because ties will be broken later by average number of ends won, we finished playing the eighth, and as it happened they stole one.  So in fact we've won two weeks in a row winning only three ends in each game.  That might turn out to hurt us, later.  Hrm.
