Apr. 14th, 2007 09:40 amSo I'm spoiled this year, in that it's very easy to do your taxes when your total taxable income is less than zero. Amount withheld = x. Amount overpaid is also x. Amount I'd like back is, shockingly, also x. Piece of cake.
Also, the state forms were easy, because although I lived in two states in 2006, I didn't earn a penny in Ohio, which means I don't have to do part-year forms in either Ohio or Virginia; I can do the regular form in VA and sign the OH form that certifies I moved on this particular date and didn't earn any income in Ohio in 2006.
The only challenge will be to make sure the damn things have today's postmark on them. :-)
