For I have done a load of sweaters, and they appear to be okay!
I'm always worried about deep colors, but the cold water was fine (this has not always been the case -- UK, I'm looking at you, which I guess means I'm looking at your washing powders); and I'm always worried about knits, but the delicate cycle seems not to have hurt anything. Almost everything in there said tumble dry low, but I've gone ahead and laid them flat. Just seemed safer. Of course now I'm out of space to lay out the thing that insisted on being laid flat, but I'll find somewhere. My place isn't that small.
I feel so domestic.
