wednesday morning

Hmm.  Not quite as recovered from that head cold as I thought, apparently.  Breathing still OK, throat now beyond sore, also head and body way, waaay achy.  Am taking sick day today because cannot possibly take it tomorrow.

In other news, lately (= past few days, since I've been back) I've been finding that my computer, when it should have gone to sleep, has been restarting itself.  Any ideas from the gallery on why it would be doing this, and how I can get it to stop?  (There can be times I shut down instead of just standing by, but there are also times I'll need to leave it running while I go do something else, and I'd like it not to have restarted when I get back.)

My head is still all stuffy.  Only not.  Mainly, my sinuses are burning.  I begin to worry that I've managed to get my first sinus infection in a couple of years.

I need a better [ideally cordless] drill/screwdriver than I have.  I have things what need hanging, and my present power tools are insufficient for the task.  It may also be the drill bits, but also the battery just isn't holding a charge long enough to both drill a hole and drive in a screw.  Feh.

Soon I will need new pants.  Again.  Probably also new curling pants.  Again.  And I'm having a hard time talking myself out of other gym-related stuff.

Coveting various books and DVDs.  But I know I'm not done with Christmas presents yet, because there was a package my parents were expecting from Amazon that hadn't arrived yet when I was home.

Also, turnabout can kind of suck, can't it?
