I have finished my Leftover socks. (There are ends that need weaving in on the purple one with red toe and heel and cuff, but I'll do that tomorrow.) I can thus move on to something new! ... But I have no more sock yarn wound into balls. It is all in mere skeins. My kingdom for an umbrella swift!

Wait! Not so! I do have some yarn that K sent me that is ready to use. I can't start Purple Potamus until I get the purple yarn wound up, but I can do something else. YAY, because I have waiting-room time tomorrow afternoon. (After which I may go pay the nice folks at the yarn shop a visit, and see if they have the yarn I keep. on. looking for, which they never seem to. Sigh.)
