fox: technical difficulties: please stand by. (technical difficulties)
So I copied everything from the old external to the new external. No problem. Only, not everything copied, for whatever reason - so I determined what hadn't moved, and went to copy that -- and the thing began copying and then froze. I've had a window on my computer for four days saying "estimating time remaining ..." and the amount copied never changes. There is never a time estimate. It is the window of Godot. There's a button over on the side where I can choose "stop copying", but it does not react when I press this. I unplugged both externals, which, fine, but when I plug them back in, it tries to resume, when of course it was never doing anything in the first place.

Any suggestions? (I suppose rebooting the computer is the next step. I shall try it.)

Lots of phone calls to recruit participants for next phase of study. HAAATE cold calling. Hate it.

And have now snapped unfairly at office-mate for asking me questions about a project she inherited from me. Sigh. It's going to be That Sort of day, apparently.

And my Livestrong bracelet just broke.

I've got more, so it's not a big deal. But still.
