YOU WILL NEED:
  • one (1) Fox
  • one (1) alarm clock
  • one (1) comfy bed
Make sure Fox goes to bed relatively early, because she's got an early morning. Set the alarm clock for 5:30 so she can hit the snooze a couple of times. But here is the crucial step: before she falls asleep, do not turn the alarm clock on.

The Flying Fox is done when she wakes up, reflects that she hasn't heard the alarm, wonders what time it is, looks at the clock, and sees 7:05.

It is not a complete disaster, as see above re: snooze, and also I keep the clock a few minutes fast. I did in fact leap, as Bertie Wooster would say, like a gaffed salmon, but moving speedily I have got back on schedule. Otherwise, would I have time to be posting here amusing all of you?
