Blocks per day to stay on target given 90 days: a shade more than half; blocks are of different sizes, so this means a different amount of work each day, but I'm not prepared to do more math right now [g]
Blocks per day to stay on target given, say, 83 days: a bigger shade more than half; also, this assumes can work on the thing every day, which I can tell you right now won't really be possible

Odds of project being finished on time: right now I'm going to say excellent. Let us keep our fingers, needles, etc. crossed!

If you're reading me on LJ, take no notice of this post. :-)

For those of you reading on DW: I have cleared out a number of ad hoc and otherwise unused LJ filters and repopulated what's left with your DW identities. It turns out that what's left is (1) a general beta filter, (2) five years' worth of yuletide beta filters (which might well go by the wayside as well in the next few minutes, but have currently not been axed for archival reasons), (3) a filter allowing people to see photographs, (4) the "size matters" filter in which I occasionally blather about weight loss and other body image issues, and (5) a sekrit filter I don't talk about. Of these, (4) is the only real opt-in filter, but the others aren't precisely classified, or I wouldn't have mentioned them; if you are here on DW and believe you have been incorrectly excluded from a filter you used to have access to on LJ, by all means let me know and I'll see if I can't make the lists match more exactly.

What this does mean is that anything posted to any other filter on LJ before a month ago is still exactly as it was on LJ but now filtered to a group that doesn't exist on DW, and therefore invisible to everyone but me. I can't imagine anyone cares, as what prompted me to delete the filter groups in the first place was that I hadn't used the filters in ages, but in case anyone is troubled by this, um, there it is?

clearly i have lost my mind.

I have never watched American Idol, so my investment in who wins is (let's be honest) pretty low. And you all know I'm allergic to RPF, so I'm not influenced by astolat's bribes of smokin' hot fic in exchange for helping her favorite win.

And yet I have just spent four hours hitting redial to call in votes for Adam, because it was that important to astolat and merryish and their several other minions who all convened in the chat room to cheer each other on. Four hours. FOUR HOURS.

Why isn't there a mood icon for "bewildered"?
