So I was going to make progress on the interminable large square on Wednesday and finish it on Thursday and get going on the next rectangle on Thursday and finish it on Friday and then have three small squares to begin the weekend and make tons of headway, right?

Yeah.

I finally finished the large square on Friday at skiffy night, amid speculation that if Sisyphus had been a knitter his punishment for whatever it was he did would have been to do garter stitch forever. There are now only four large squares remaining, thank god. Along with three small squares and about a zillion rectangles.

Blocks completed as of tonight: 39 (which you'd think would be 70.90909...%)
Actual percent of work done: 69.1666666...
Target date: August 17
Today's date: July 19
Days remaining: 29, less a few for shipping
Blocks remaining: 16
Blocks per day to stay on target given 29 days: a little more than half of a block; blocks are of different sizes, etc., as I've been saying
Blocks per day to stay on target given, say, 23 days: a little less than three quarters of a block, assuming can work on the thing every day etc.

Odds of coming in on time: decent, but I'm not actually making bets on it or anything.
