OH. The border on this thing was kicking my ass. I picked up stitches all the way around with the wrong side facing, like it said, and then I began knitting in the same direction, and got all the way around once and a half before I twigged that I was facing the wrong way - too much to tink back, so I ripped it out and picked up the stitches again and started knitting in the other direction, and I don't even remember what I did wrong with increasing at the corners, but increasing in the middle of ribbing is hard to keep track of!, and I did it wrong twice, so for those of you following along at home, I have now picked up and begun the border four times, but this time it's finally right. :-) I've got it. It's under control. It'll be finished this evening. (And the stitches along the one side, that are a little stretchy from having been picked up four times, they'll calm back down in the final blocking. Honest.)
