lazy sunday: the best kind.
Jun. 28th, 2010 12:03 amWoke up indecently early, but turned over and went back to sleep. Had some weird dreams, but not so weird they ruined my day. Spoke to my parents. Went out for a little lunch. Came home and watched TV and played video games until I felt like closing my eyes, then had a little lie-down on the couch for a couple of hours (during which time it seems to have rained, which might explain the drowsiness a bit). Woke up, watched more TV and played more video games, did some dishes, took out the trash and the recycling, and folded and put away the remains of last week's laundry so I could use the basket for the laundry that's been sitting there since last week, which was the guest room linens and the towels I used to mop up the kitchen floor after upstairs' sink-flooding mishap. Laundry done and folded and put away, guest room back to rights, and dishwasher running (and not flooding my own kitchen floor, I'll note). And yet it feels like a lazy day, which in the main it was - impressive how relaxed you can feel when your poor abused tooth and jaw don't hurt that much. (It's not down to nothing, but it's sooo much better than it's been, I can't even get my head around it.) \o/
