NEEDS MOAR WEDGE

So the happy Star Wars place I've been in for the past few weeks isn't really showing any signs of going away. And I'm almost through with my cursory re-read of the bubble-gum-fun X-Wing series. What to do next?! I'm starting to think I need to try again to learn to read comics, and then try to get my hands on a stack of X-Wing comic books, of which I understand there are several. Who can hook a sister up with some?

So the lovely Fluevogs I bought a couple of weeks ago (Mini Elif) are a little roomy. And I haven't been able to tell if they're a full half-size roomy, or what. And I don't have the original box anymore!, although I do have the invoice etc. So I finally sucked it up and called the New York store, where they'd come from, and talked to a very nice young man (actually very possibly a very nice middle-aged man) about the possibilities, and made an arrangement to have the same shoe sent to me in a half-size smaller, where I can then compare and keep the ones that fit better and send back the ones that don't in the box that I will have at that point (because either way, I'll keep one pair). Fabulous. And while I was on the phone I also bought a pair of Mini Gorgeous, because I am weak and they are fabulous and will be stupid comfortable and ... pretty much because I'm weak, really. The guy I spoke to wanted to be sure he hadn't exerted any pressure on me in any way to buy these things; I asked him if he works on commission, and then told him I thought he was doing it wrong. ;-)



Someday soon I will stop buying things I don't need. Really, I will. Any minute now.
