fun at work
Jun. 21st, 2011 11:22 pmHow to have fun at work: assure a couple of senior team members that you didn't mind coming along to a meeting that turned out to be canceled and you missed the notification, because you and the other colleague who didn't get the memo spent the time before giving up on the meeting talking about your upcoming brain surgery. And then watch their faces in the two seconds before you assure them that you don't actually think you need brain surgery.
Good times.
(I'm going back to the ENT on Thursday to see about the results of the MRI from last Friday and, assuming it will show nothing, to decide what's next. Even if it does show something, I suppose. But the expectation is that it will be absolutely normal, b/c what he's doing is admitting the cause of my ongoing dizziness etc. is not obvious, and therefore ruling out lots of possible causes, scariest first.)
