Dudes, is it time for a new word? I think it might be time for fansplaining.

Which means just what you think it means. I mean to say: I'm all about death of the author, you know, but it's one thing to maintain that the author can't dictate how the consumer is going to interact with the text, and it's quite another to insist that the author is reading the book wrong, you know what I mean? Or to tell (to take one representative example)
