So I'm looking at this year's Stratford season. Which is this: )

So that's YES on Henry V; Much Ado about Nothing; Elektra; and The War of 1812; MAYBE/MAYBE NOT on The Matchmaker; The Pirates of Penzance; You're a Good Man, Charlie Brown; and Cymbeline; NO on 42nd Street; Wanderlust; and The Best Brothers; and HELL NO on A Word or Two and MacHomer.

Per usual, the numbers involved mean most if not all of the Maybes are going to end up in the No column. That's okay. If I couldn't handle not seeing them I'd have put them in the Yes column to start.

Further musings as spring progresses, I imagine.

I haven't been sleeping well, I think. So last night I once again took half a lorazepam, and I slept very well and woke up (comparatively, extremely) refreshed. I think I'd better put half-a-lorazepam on my list of things to take nightly, because I'm getting pretty tired (ha, see what I did there) of deciding everything's okay, going off the meds, some time later realizing I've been sleeping like crap and getting sick because of it, resuming the meds, and remembering that Hey, These Things Actually Work.

I only have to be hit over the head a couple dozen times, is what I'm saying. Monday I'd better call for a refill.

(in this case the icon would actually be better if it went the other way around.)

Also "Regina Coeli" and "Ave Verum" and some other non-choral stuff.

Sunday, 4pm, National Cathedral, cathedralchoralsociety.org . Hope you'll come along if that's the sort of thing you enjoy!
