I'm a little surprised by how upset I am about the Colorado movie theater shooting. I mean of course it's an upsetting thing - but this one has got to me more than other, similar upsetting things. The president's comments (which I heard on the radio this morning) made me cry, and the front page of the Washington Post website has a picture of a guy screaming with a caption saying he's looking for his son, who was at the movie, and I can't keep looking at it. ... For now I'm going to trust that his son is among those who are or will be okay.
