I enjoy that for the festivities surrounding the formal abdication of Queen Beatrix and investiture/coronation/what-have-you of ~~Crown Prince~~ King Willem Alexander of the Netherlands, the representatives from the world's royal families were the heirs apparent rather than the monarchs. I think that's charming.
