home again
Feb. 21st, 2015 07:42 pmHello, the Internet.
Since we last spoke, I took a train up to New York to spend the night following his two-day training with Himself and have brunch at 2nd Ave and pick up some noms at Russ & Daughters and generally have a pleasant day before catching the train back (this all happened to be Valentine's Day, but we are nonbelievers in that particular holiday, so we accomplished all of this without buying flowers or candy from anyone); had a day off and then a snow day and then the rest of a work week, all based at my in-laws' instead of our house because of the latter's lack of stairs; and came home to a house with stairs (in which they've done the best they could in terms of closing off and insulating the access points to the unfinished new parts of the house, but there's no denying it's snowing outside and therefore cold inside) and began the process of cleaning plaster dust off of everything we own.
How's your week been?
