Here is a question I am confident someone has answered somewhere, possibly in one of the many many non-film series I don't think I'll ever be able to catch up on, but: Why on earth is Luke's last name Skywalker?

Like. I know the Doylist answer. ( Doylist answer is full of spoilers for a 42-year-old movie but I'm cutting anyway )

At some point in the ever-expanding canon, did someone make that make sense?

I ordered myself and the prince some flip flops off Zazzle. They took a *while* to get here, and finally arrived today—and the straps are backwards. Turns out that's a thing that can happen. I think I see how to fix them, but I suspect I'd ruin the soles if I tried.
