yippee-ki-yay ...
Sep. 20th, 2003 11:36 pmwatched die hard again tonight.
will never, ever, as long as i live, ever understand the thinking of the temp who told me he was disappointed in the casting choice for snape because he didn't think alan rickman made a good (he may have used the word "convincing") villain.
[refrains from petting TV screen and takes self away to bed instead]
the sprained ankle, by the way, is still sprained. the swelling has gone down quite a bit, but isn't completely gone, and the pain is less but still noticeable. in the morning it's quite stiff (my ankle, guys. my ankle), and i'm trying to move my foot around and draw letters in the air like the doctor said, and i've got almost a full range of motion -- it's just one direction that it still really hurts to move it in. unfortunately, this is the direction required to take a step; i can put weight on it fine, but i can't roll through a step because the pushing-off for the next step hurts like hell. so i'm hobbling around like a hobbling thing. (or like a pirate with a wooden leg, perhaps, which may have been why i couldn't get enthused about Talk Like A Pirate Day -- i was already walking the walk. [g])
