fox: arctic fox: time to hibernate (hibernate)
me: i can tell i'm coming down with something. i have the headache, and you know that taste in the back of your throat, how you can tell any day now you'll have a raging head cold?

my co-worker: i don't know why -- the air quality is so high, there's no reason you shouldn't be feeling well.

the bitterness in the woman's voice had to be heard to be believed. it's almost as bitter as the icky taste in the back of my throat.
fox: my left eye. "ceci n'est pas une fox." (brooms)
in so many areas of my life, i have been so, so fortunate. very likely more so than i deserve, by any reasonable arrangement of statistics. all i can do therefore is thank my stars, and insist: no silence.
