sprinty sprint, but with writing

so.  big honkin' syntax problem set due today, featuring Warlpiri, Spanish, and Irish Gaelic.  had the actual work done as of last night, but decided to get up this morning to do the necessary recopying -- unfortunately because of the nature of X-bar theory and trees and f-structures and whatnot (trust me), it's just the sort of thing you have to write out by hand.

thought i'd get up this morning, copy out the answers, hit the shower, have something to eat, and head to class (leaving at 1:30 to be there comfortably in time for lecture at 2:00).

what i wound up doing was finishing the work, getting dressed, shoving a soda into my bag along with my books, and hurrying to class.  time spent copying answers i'd already worked out:  three hours.

picked up some groceries on the way back.  going to have a slow evening, i think.

[eta:  oh, also, elance -- deposited paid in your check cheque today.  the package arrived okay, didn't it?]
