springtime -- bah! humbug!

sweet jesus, i am allergic to something.

i mean -- we all know this about me, yeah, and for 'something' read 'pretty much everything that grows'.  but i'd been feeling a lot better here than i normally did back in DC, for instance, and nevertheless two or three weeks ago i started feeling sinusy and spring-like, so i began my annual load-up of antihistamine+decongestants, and so far so good.  in fact, better, because i figured this will be a flowering-time that is both shorter and lighter than what i'm used to.  and up to now, i've been right.

but today, i itch.  my eyes and my skin itch, and i keep sneezing, and all i want to do is take a nap.  i swear i could see the pollen in the air when i was outside.  ugh, ugh, ugh.  make it go away.  wah.
