Popping in quickly, as one never knows when the stolen wireless connection will drop, to say:

THE DRIVE FROM CLEVELAND TOOK ME TEN HOURS.

Something about a truck knocking down a phone cable on I-270. Didn't entirely ruin my day, but made a good effort. I still got here in time to sign my lease, which was really the important thing; but I didn't get nearly as much painting done today as I wanted, despite the assistance of

cmshaw and

ellen_fremedon and

sanj, because the light was almost gone by the time we could really get going.

Tomorrow: painting, DMV. I'm also scheduled to have the phone connected tomorrow, but I may have to call them off -- I don't have a phone, for one thing, and I can't know when I'm going to be here. Maybe I'll go to the DMV first thing and then paint until it's time to go to the airport. Gah.
