and i'll never even need to iron my hair

So check it: I bought some ridiculous brown "suede" [eta1: actually the tag assures me that the uppers are genuine suede -- go figure] fringey knee-high boots today, and am presently wearing them with my brown not-really-tiered crinkly skirt. The boots are surprisingly comfortable [eta2: and, it turns out, without knee socks they actually stand all the way up, without slouching], and even with today's plain navy v-neck it is kind of awesome. But I also got some brown-and-turquoise hoopy earrings with dangly nonsense on, and tomorrow sanj will lend me a hippy-dippy top, and I will be ready for the Flower Power portion of this weekend's Women's Challenge, y'all. :-) (Won't be quite as killer as last year's purple spangly dress with silver go-go boots, of course, but I find that if you don't expect lightning to strike twice, you're less likely to be disappointed when it doesn't.)
