a solution, part 2
Dec. 3rd, 2009 02:14 pmSo this is how shallow I am:
I bought the cute panda humidifier the other night, right? And it's cute, but it doesn't look an awful lot like a panda - white and clear, rather than black and white, and I ask you. I chose it over the penguin, though I may as I said acquire the penguin for the guest room; and there was an elephant, but I run hot and cold on elephants, really; and they were out of the frog. Anyway, though, I followed
cinco's link to drugstore.com yesterday and what did they have prominently displayed in some section or other as I was clicking around but the same brand of cute kids' humidifiers, with more creatures: a dragon!, and a cow!, and a PINK PIG that was just about the most adorable thing ever. And I was a little sorry I hadn't known about the pink pig, because I'd totally have got that one instead.
And then last night I was all over again actually sad that I have this cute-but-not-all-that panda thing and not the pink pig one. I told myself, quite reasonably, that this is a product whose main function is accomplished while I am asleep, so what it looks like is really immaterial. Didn't help. When I woke up, I thought, I could put the panda in the guest room - but I want the penguin for the guest room! And I absolutely have no need for three very cute humidifiers.
I have reassembled the panda in its original packaging and ordered the pink pig. /o\
