these are different sinuses.
Mar. 2nd, 2010 11:20 pmSame headache for going on two weeks. Includes stabby pain above my right eye and pressure - quite a lot of it at times - behind my head on the right side and in my right ear. My eyebrows feel tender to the touch; I don't know why I always think that ought to mean "soft", like I'll try to press and it'll give a little bit and if it doesn't then it doesn't qualify as "tender", but I do always think that and have to remind myself that's not what that's supposed to mean. Anyway, laying my fingers on my eyebrows hurts a little, though pressing a little more seems to shift the pressure a bit and feels better for a moment. Sounds like a sinus infection to me, except that I usually get those at the bridge of my nose and over my cheekbones, which I think is why I've been so slow to recognize this one - it's because my teeth don't hurt.
NyQuil tonight, but tomorrow I'm going to call and see who can see me the fastest or, better yet, agree with my self-diagnosis and call me in a scrip without an appointment. I don't have time for this.
