I can't remember the last time I wanted something as badly as I wanted to stay in bed this morning.

Despite my extreme desire not to get out of bed this morning (it was the two-week headache compounded by having back-to-back games at curling last night, so I didn't even get home until 12:45, though in fairness I did get a great parking space when I finally did get home), today turned out to be okay. Did some work in the morning, went to a job talk, went to the lunch group with the candidate, did a little more work in the afternoon, went to get my allergy shot, which pretty much killed the rest of the day.

And then I accomplished almost all the errands I've been hoping to do for the whole week and haven't gotten to. Post office, IKEA, Bed Bath & Beyond, Target, yay! (Only, who do I have to mug to get a power squid in this town? There are power strips everywhere, but no squids. Boo.) And I went to the grocery store.

Buying yogurt for a ten-day course of antibiotics is tough, because that's an awful lot of yogurt. (Thank god I only have to take two pills a day.) There's not a ton of flavors, and some of them don't appeal to me too much - key lime, lemon chiffon, apple pie. Meh. This time I got a few each of a few flavors, and I figure I'll rotate them so I don't get too sick of anything by nine days from now. One of the flavors was "toasted coconut vanilla", about which I was hesitant, so I rolled it out today in case I don't like it (then I'd have the rest of it tomorrow and be done with it), but you know? It's actually pretty tasty.

Now I have a whole evening to myself, and I can't tell you how happy that makes me.
