All last night I slept about an hour and a half at a time before the pain woke me up. Lather, rinse, repeat. Called out today and did some work at home, including an hour and a half worth of conference calls, so am not complete slacker. I can see where the needles went to shoot me full of novocaine. I can see where my poor laser-zapped gums are healing up. It hurts down in the bone, too, but I can't tell how much of that is from the fact that the temporary partial doesn't seal completely and how much is from no, okay, root canal it is. Missed the callback with the dentist today, so I'll have to be sure to call early tomorrow morning.

And any time I could stop biting my tongue, that would be great.
