My winter boots that I ordered came. (Well, wintery.)

So did my beaded ONE bracelets (white, for world hunger; red, for AIDS; rainbow, for malaria), so I could finally take off my on-its-last-legs Make Poverty History band. The three beaded ones are now on my left wrist along with my Cheat to Win band; I like them better over there, for a variety of reasons, but it does feel strange for the moment not to have anything on my right wrist. Phantom bracelets, I'm feeling. I'll get over it soon.

I did good work at yoga tonight.

I've been playing solitaire on my dad's iPad, and the other day it seized up and started running really slowly and not making its sounds, although sound was still switched on. Closing and re-opening the app didn't solve anything. But I updated the whole gizmo to iOS 6 and now it's back to clicky normal. Yay.

Tomorrow is Friday.
