domesticity

Today we made dinner and had Himself's mom and stepdad over. Real Company, like Real Grown-ups! In preparation for which we tidied the daylights out of the living room, cleaned the bathrooms, swept the stairs (!), and finally cleared off the dining room table (for the first time since we moved in). (By "we" I mostly mean "I", but that's because Himself had more errands to do w/r/t getting his house rented.) Plus the market! Plus two loads of laundry!

But really it's the clean floors and put-away things and generally adult-compliant house that is pleasing me to bits. ♥♥♥
