plus, as i mentioned before, soon i won't have to think about it any more. and then all i'll have to do is grade a stack (probably about knee-deep) of finals ...

actually most of the fun is glossing the sample sentences.
to illustrate the difference between a participle (in the first sentence) and the same participle lexicalized as an adjective (in the second):
Женщина, сумасшедшая (после аварии мужа), не живет одна.
Ženščin-a, sumasšed-š-aja (posle avari-i muž-a), ne živ-et odn-a
woman-NOM.f.sg go.mad-PastAP-NOM.f.sg (after crash-GEN.f.sg husband-GEN.m.sg) NEG live-3sg alone-NOM.f
