i was so ... awake

so i'm watching the second back to the future movie, yeah? and there's the scene where marty goes into the Cafe 80's to intercept griff and prevent marty jr. from ruining his life? but while he's waiting, he shows a couple of kids how to play a video game?

( you remember, don't you? )

( but did you ever look closely at the kids? )

this may not be news to anyone else, but i was surprised. (i was so surprised. were you surprised? i was surprised.)

i was so ... surprised

my parents feel bad that i'm sick -- partly sympathetically, and because they generally wish nothing bad would happen to us, of course; but mainly because they feel like they should have given me a better immune system.

in curling news, we played like crap tonight and deserved to be defeated by

datlowen and his minions. 7-2 in seven ends. gah.
