days like this, the decision to leave is a no-brainer.

i continue with the sinus issues, because i'm allergic to this fucking city, and because it's hot. i worked from home today (boss man says: After your stellar totals last week, I'm just requesting you keep up the good work, however, wherever.) because it was better than trying to drive, but at least at work there would have been air conditioning. here, the AC doesn't go on until may 15, and the fact that it was 95 degrees today be damned. so i have the ceiling fan and the box fan going, and it was still approximately eight thousand degrees in my apartment.

and, of course, it's only going to get worse. ugh. (it's dark out now, and the temperature just dropped below 80.)
