dentist = ugh.
Sep. 28th, 2004 11:18 amteeth are clean and intact. parents are both gone with cars, so cannot take self to DMV or anything until this afternoon. should be sorting/packing/etc., but think will just take short nap first.

the fun continues
Sep. 28th, 2004 09:23 pmam once more a resident of the state of ohio. license is in my little hand, and i'm definitely registered to vote (despite the fact that there's drama surrounding registrations because the secretary of state is a jerk). will call back tomorrow to talk to someone again about my absentee ballot.
am gradually getting Stuff put away in places where it won't bug my folks while i'm away. family-room floor is covered with clothes and shoes -- not a huge amount of stuff, but it'll be fun to try to get it all into few enough bags that i can carry it all. along with several pounds of books.
almost done ripping CDs into iTunes, and will do a big update of the iPod tomorrow. bringing along the adapters for britain and continental europe, but leaving behind china, korea, and australia/new zealand.
... now, where's my passport?
