I have made the truck reservation, and

datlowen's A. is a HERO OF THE REVOLUTION for agreeing to come get me at (brace yourselves) 7:45 Saturday morning to pick it up. I promised him I wouldn't have packed the coffee maker, but he does not need to be bribed with coffee and agreed to do it anyway. [genuflects]

Took

ellen_fremedon to the Apple Store this afternoon (go pet her; she's had a hard day) and then took AN HOUR AND A HALF TO GET HOME FROM BETHESDA BECAUSE THE TRAFFIC SIGNALS IN FUCKING ROSSLYN WERE OFF-SYNC. *pant pant pant* But then I had tasty Chinese food, so that's all right.

Realistically, I must admit that most of my stuff is in boxes now. The kitchen is, predictably, the last major area to undertake, but apart from that, I really think the rest can go in a box labeled "random shit that didn't go in any other boxes".

... it's just that there kind of seems to be a lot of random shit. [rubs eyes; goes to bed]
